Hamburg

What a blast. Last week/weekend I went to Hamburg to listen and actually present at a conference. I presented on Richard Rorty’s concept of language. Of course, this smart old man, Joseph Margolis, enjoyed asking difficult questions but he seems to be pretty cutting-edge in terms of American thought.

Besides that, we actually managed to sneak out a couple of times and then explored Hamburg and enjoyed the nightlife. It was great to get out, despite not really having a weekend to relax. Good to get away from the stress for a while. I’m pretty stressed out at the moment. Got a lot of school stuff going on, but on the bright side, I’ll be back in Jersey for some serious vacation less than 7 weeks! Yay!
